Help Kira Fight!

Land2Sea Aerial Photography News Update

– In association with Trevor Salter [SalterWater.com] and Ananda Ortanez: We had the absolute privilege of covering the 2nd Annual Fight For Kira Surf Competition Cancer Fundraiser, held at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA.

This event was in support of Kira Stanley, a courageous 17-year-old Cali surfer diagnosed with an inoperable Brain-stem tumor (DIPG) in November 2017. This was her second fundraising event which will help her continue experimental cancer treatment.

All throughout the day: surfers competed fiercely across all ages, genders, and even cooperatively in the “Big Air” Session. Surf conditions were less than ideal – but these athletes had novices like myself thinking otherwise!

There were many outstanding raffle items, including tickets to Kelly Slater’s Surf Ranch, an array of high-end surfboards, and wetsuits. Additionally, there was a free Easter Egg hunt for all the little ones.

The evening tied up beautifully, at the amazingly fresh Flower Child restaurant in Del Mar, CA. The engaging live music, thirst quenching cocktails, and delicious food had the masses overwhelmingly gratified!

For Land2Sea Aerial Photography, it is essential to be connected to the families in our community and to be reminded of the wonderfully inspiring people like Kira: who still persevere day after day. She truly is a guiding light example of living life daily, to the fullest.

Compassion, dependability, and integrity all support the unwavering values that we as a company and our associates embody.
